Question on the Engineering

I have a question on the engineering. I have been receiving emails from the engineering company and did a follow up phone call this morning. After talking to him, I realized that there were two different companies contacting me. Advanced Engineering and Design Everest. Who should I be talking to? Are they doing different things for us?       I spoke with Brad at Advanced Engineering this morning regarding the vaulted ceilings I mentioned in below discussion. He said that he would need the…See More

Ceilings

Hello Tim,I have been looking over the documents from the Engineering company and want to mention to you that I would like the ceiling of the pavilion and casita to follow the roof lines to achieve some additional height and have room for fans/heaters, beams etc. The bathroom/kitchen area may be an exception. Please let me know if there are any other design features that need to be decided before the engineering work is initiated. Thanks! JulieSee More

I think the roof rafter overhangs can possibly be integrated into the breezeway, but we can deal with that later. The only other thought was regarding the pillars in the open wall of the pavillion. Is it possible to have two pillars framing the fireplace vs one in the middle? I am open to thoughts on this.Let me know next steps and timing or if you need anything…See More

Landscaper?

Started by Sam and Julie Sepah. Last reply by Tim Haley Oct 30, 2020. 1 Reply

Hi-We're conflicted with the idea of hiring a landscaper. We aren't sure if it is really necessary to have a landscaper to work on this project within the same time frame due to our budget. We'll definitely install the swim spa, though. However,…Continue
