The Advanced Physical Therapy Inc - Construction Project will use this Group to demonstrate how a project can be run via a social network instead of via traditional means of communication via phone or e-mail. Since AllyLocal focuses on business social networking as oppose to personal social networking like found on Facebook - it makes more sense to use AllyLocal and then share it (automatically) to other sites like Facebook or Twitter as needed.
AllyLocal allows all members of a group to view project updates - via posting Text, Video, Pictures and it also allows for embedded files (via attachements) and links. The advantage is that you don't need to remember to copy or call everyone on an e-mail or phone call. All project memeber can see it updated on one location. Alerts can be set up to post to e-mail, Facebook or Twitter.
Privacy settings can be adjusted so everyone can view the project or just the group members.
AllyLocal also helps generate Alliances and often these Alliances can be found within project teams (the team members may generate referrals for future jobs).
