Tim, the changes look great! I have a couple of minor items:
A) For the new alcove created for the kitchen range, I was trying to create a detail whereby the stones could wrap around the front “columns” and also have a logical place to terminate into a wall (please see attachment – kitchen range details). In the drawing, I think the “columns” should extend enough so that we have space to return the stone corner (about 6”) to the wall. Kitchen%20range%20details%20%2812-12%29.pdf
Other than that, please remove the two text labels as indicated on the attached: plan%20comments%20%2812-12%29.pdf
Thank you!
I posted a new A2.1 to reflect the plan changes. I am still working on the ceiling / electrical as it relates to the changes but wanted to complete the plan so Brad can use it on his structural base drawings.
As for Powder Room - I prefer Option A since on Option B you walk right into the Toilet (where Option A the Door swing helps hide the toilet). Since it is tight the wall mounted unit will help.
Thanks Tim!
Hi Greg - I've updated the Ceilings + added the Sections for the Main house (still working on the sections for the Barn and Guest House) + other sheets including a cover sheet. I still need to modify the electrical to match the new ceilings (but let me know what you think of the ceilings first). I also have to add the trellis to the Impluvium section on A3.5. Thanks - Tim
Tim, great meeting today - really appreciated your insights and comments.
Regarding the beams in the Parlor room -- I agree that the far beam close to the wall is a problem and looks odd. I understand your suggested "fix", but I rather have 4 beams instead of 3, and I think it would bug me to have beams spaced out differently. So, I'd rather go with our Option B plan attached: Tressle%20layout%20for%20Parlor%20Room.pdf
This layout works, and it really isn't a big deal to have a light over the pool table not centered between beams.
Thanks again!
Greg
Drawing A2.1, A2.2, A3.1, A6.1, A6.2, A6.3, A6.4 were modified per your comment above. Thanks.
Hi Tim, we have a couple of relatively minor proposed changes to the Main house. All should be self explanatory, but let's discuss if you have any questions or comments.
On the change to the "Prep Kitchen" we've decided we'd rather have a larger space in the main kitchen for seating than the larger Prep Kitchen. We think the narrower, smaller Prep Kitchen is just fine and we also prefer the alignment with the Wine Closet wall -- cleaner and more efficient!
Please see attached for the changes:

Hi Greg - I've modified the plans and elevations per your comments on the 9th so we can go over them in our meeting on the 20th.
Tim, I looked at the existing grade conditions again this morning (with more light) and did notice that the existing pad/grade does slope from front yard to back yard about 6".
So an amendment to my lengthy grade discussion from last night...there should be 3 steps down from the rear terrace (not 2 as mentioned last night), and the "stone base" skirt should be about 18" in the back of the house.
