House exterior paint ideas

As you know, our house's exterior color is pretty dark and it is in the corner of our street. We would like to pain the house with a light color to make it larger from a far distance and we are not sure what is the best choice to paint on. We are thinking about ivory white or cream color which it might relate to our mediterranean home style. Thoughts?

Preliminary House Design

Here are our some feedback about the Option A preliminary design: We want to leverage every space remained on the South side of our backyard. Therefore, we do not wish to expand anything on the East side, which you proposed.
