As you know, our house's exterior color is pretty dark and it is in the corner of our street. We would like to pain the house with a light color to make it larger from a far distance and we are not sure what is the best choice to paint on. We are thinking about ivory white or cream color which it might relate to our mediterranean home style. Thoughts?

painting I think is actually more important than even the change of style because the new addition will end up being newly painted and will not match the existing paint even if we wanted it to. I do think the ivory white or cream color would be appropriate.
