  • Hi Team,

Crystal seemed to enjoy the direction we were going.  She mentioned the need for screening as my designs have yet to have a developed planting plan, but a good thing to keep in mind as we move on with the design process.  Hopefully we will have the ability to plant between the property line and the scenic easements to have a layered effect.

  • Thanks for the update Tim!  It must have been Crystal De Castro?   I worked with her a ton and she was always very responsive and helpful so I'm sure we will hear some feedback this week.  Glad to hear she liked the design (hard not to :) )

  • We had a good meeting at the town of Danville.  We were not able to meet with David (he had an emergency meeting) - but we did meet with Christine (apparently she was the planner that work with you on the previous design).   She will however review it with David and get back to us this week.  She did like the design and how it has evolved.   She asked about sections / dimensions/ etc... and I explained that we are at an earlier stage where we haven't developed it that far.  She like the elevations and the articulation of this design vs the previous.  I'll let Robert comment on their discussion about the landscape.  As mentioned she'll review it with David and get back to us this week.

  • Robert, you are making it hard to choose here! (not that we have to decide anything concrete now) But we are favoring Option B.  The pool looks super cool there.  Plenty of room for patio chairs to lay out on etc.  Great BBQ area that we can develop more as the years go by.  Took the liberty of drawing in some additional grass space next to the pool that kids can play on and we can see from kitchen window (see attached).  Let me know what you think on that but doesnt need to be redone or anything for presenting to David.  The two options you prepared are beautiful!   Thanks again-- Jeff and Christine

Robert way to rock it!  Love it.  The angles and lines are very pleasing.  Love the curved path connecting the two patio areas.  Great big grass area on the side for football and trellis is a great location.  Very cool idea on the shower.  Super flow around the house, works great.  One thing we might explore is the have grass where you have the pool and then combine the potential jacuzzi area and turf/patio into pool/spa area.  Unless its easier to do a pool at the higher elevation?  Love the infinity edge you have though on the pool where it is.

Looking forward to having you present this to David (and also to check out the alternate schematic you mentioned).  Thanks!
