Old World Charm

Hi Janae,

So the ceiling detail and covered porch roof detail were originally in the discussion "ceiling and lighting plan feedback" (if you go to "view all" in the discussion page you will find it) but I'm reposting the items here for streamlining the discussion since that prior post had alot of other items discussed.

So first here is the link for the covered porch with clay roof tiles so when you look up you will see the underside of the roof tiles, this pic is from Tim's Smith Residence.  The main level ceiling plan has details on this.  I believe the framing materials would be included in Ray's bid since this is under "covered porches".  But we of course can verify with him as we get more detailed.

Second, here is a pic of the main entry ceiling detail plan (see upper level ceiling plan).  This pic is rounded but ours will be square/rectangle.

These features are really going to give our house that old world charm and character!

Lets see if Ray included these materials in the bid since he did have all the drawings prior to issuing the bid.  Also, Tim, we were talking about the beams in the house, family/great room and upper and lower Gallerys, these are real beams/wood correct?  Part of the framing?

Thanks, --Jeff
