Construction Meeting #008

Meeting on 8/19 covered the following items:

1. Reviewed concerns again about having the half-inch threshold difference in the large doors and the hardscape in the rear courtyard area.  Sachin wants to maintain this but both Mike and Tim mentioned that a trench drain will be needed to help protect water intrusion in a storm (and this is no guarantee that there will be no water intrusion).
2. Reviewed the height of the cabana finish floor compared to the house (cabana should be lower).
3. Reviewed the removal of the post next to the powder room stair
4. Reviewed the landings and the beams at the top of the main stair (we will come up with a detail to make the transition look good - it will be decorative not structural)
5. Looked at the beams on the bridge and plan on doing the crown as shown on the Reflected Ceiling Plan
6. Reviewed the art glass and water fall option separating the office from the formal areas.
7. Reviewed the media wall in the Great Room.
