Tim,

Agree with new drawing A2.1.  For the window on the south side, what is your recommendation for a  on the south side instead of a

Once we decide on the window, will we see a 3D version of the room?

Let us know,

Tim, Good afternoon - I don't see the link with the added sheets on this site but I'll keep looking for them. Regarding the covered porch off of the new addition, we believe the existing oak tree may present an issue, see attached photos.  Thoughts?

  • Sounds good.  I added a number of sheets to same link.   The only thing I am not sure on is if you also wanted to add a covered porch off of the new slider and how deep was it?  I remember the discussion since I presented that as an option earlier when I showed you multiple options but wasn't sure if you wanted it or not?

  • Tim:   We would like the 3 piece 10ft window - center solid and 2 side windows that can open/close w/screens, similar to the rest of the house - square with no archways (couple of windows have an arch, not needed in addition).  And 3D not needed, drawings will do.
Clare did stop by to see when we'd have something to show him, so let us know what's next.
    Thanks! Ken & Antoinette
  • The window as one solid piece of glass 10ft wide can be made but it would be very expensive.  I suggest dividing it into three windows with the center one being larger than the two sides.  Also the two side windows can then would be operable.  That is my suggestion.  This also goes well with your interior with the archway and shelves
We could do a 3d model of the window but I use outside consultants these days do do my 3d modeling work.  Not sure if it would be helpful for this unless you wanted to see from the outside how it looked relative to the rest of the house?
Let me know about the large picture window.  If you want to keep it as one large piece of glass or divide it into 2 (fixed) or 3 windows (with the center larger and the two sided fixed)
