I'm done with the revision of the main kitchen. I will attach the sketched drawing shortly.
Revisions
1. The island sink-Could you please move this island sink to the same side as the stove?
2. The sushi/shrink cocktail sink- Could you please move it to the buffet island on the North end of the island?
3. The stove island-What do you think of this idea? Lower the stove side of the island slightly lower and the opposite side of the island to be little higher to make space for the vent so that vent doesn't have to go up and down. (See photo attached for an idea)
4. I'm adding height to the cabinets all around by adding top cabinet like the picture shown.(jpg 3577/3571)
More comments will follow with attached sketch for the main kitchen.
Could you post the cabinet design for the prep kitchen? I'm ready to work on that now.

There isn't a right answer to it with +/- to each.
The lower island has normal bar stool height for chairs and is cleaner in terms of a look. The step up provides more privacy and easier to clean and vent --- and a year ago I would say is dated - however - restaurants often has this step so I think that comment isn't applicable anymore. Just let me know.

For the item #3 above, do you think it's better to make it flat island or with a step? I would like everyone's input before final decision is made.
