Hi Julia,
This Black / White floor is a classic pattern (with the smaller diagonal black and white field tiles) and it will save $ over the slabs and over the floor from your post last year above. Note though - the ceiling and wainscoting was planned more like your first photo in previous post unless you want to change it to this photo. Note the current photo doesn't have the lighting that we would likely want in the ceiling like the first photo.

I love this look of the ceiling, the walls, the window trims, in between the window trim, the floor, the paintings, the paint colors. The only thing I don't like is the green sofa. Could we please duplicate this for our gallery hallway? The marble slab would be stunning but I don't think we could afford it. How about this floor? Do you like the black and white?
