Glass Wall Panels

Tim-

I ran across this manufacturer, Vitrocsa, in Australia that has some interesting glass panel products. One that caught my eye is their Turntable Corner/Turntable glass door that allows you to move panels on two corner walls to stack on one side or the other. This may not be appropriate or feasible for this project, but it could allow the entire 40' of the Eastern wall to be an uninterrupted glass wall that potentially could be stored in two pockets around the corners on the North and South ends only.

PS: How do I send you HTML-capable links? I think I need some site tutoring; Main page, project page, etc. :)

  • Also to create links you just highlight a "TEXT" then click on the link button in the upper left of the text box or you can also add it without adding the text first (and just enter it later along with the link)

  • Hi John,   I love this idea and I bet we could get a local manufacture to develop it.   The problem would be cost though including the fact that if we remove the two walls (which are functioning as structural shear walls) then it would force us into a steel framed (moment frame) structure - again we can do this but expensive.   If we brand these later on however - we may have a budget with a vacation type environment like on the beach or something where this cost would be justified.
